Innovating Maritime SAR with AI Driven Technology

Search and Rescue Intelligence

Search and Rescue Intelligence, or SARI, is the joint flagship AI engine of the Maritime SAR Council and SARsys, designed to support SAR operations by feeding intelligence into systems such as SOLNet and Task Assist, while remaining fully integrable with other maritime SAR systems. Developed in response to the needs expressed by Maritime Rescue Coordination Centres (MRCCs), SAR teams, SAR software providers, and the commercial maritime sector, SARI aims to enhance maritime search and rescue operations by providing robust, data-driven insights.

SARI is a powerful and adaptive machine-learning model capable of processing extensive SAR-related data to improve decision-making, resource allocation, and response times in maritime emergencies. By aggregating information from a diverse array of maritime SAR sources SARI delivers a comprehensive, intelligent tool for SAR personnel to more effectively coordinate and execute search and rescue operations.

Designed as a future-proof solution, SARI continually learns and evolves via a wide array of inputs, contributing to the continuous improvement of SAR practices. This adaptability enables SARI to support SAR organisations worldwide, creating a unified system capable of meeting diverse SAR needs and evolving in step with advancements in maritime rescue operations.
